The factory Honda team celebrates with a group photo on the podium after Miguel Duhamel won the AMA Superbike round at Pike Peak International Raceway on Aug. 17, 1997 over Kawasaki’s Doug Chandler and Yamaha’s Tom Kipp. Duhamel was in the middle of a hot streak at the time. This was the 1995 AMA Superbike Champ’s third win in a row. He would go on to make it four straight a couple of weeks later at Sears Point. The winning streak wasn’t quite enough though. Duhamel ultimately finished a close second in the ’97 championship to Chandler.
