Former Motorcycle Road race team owner Ken Welty and motorcycle road race National Champion Donnie Rowe are opening “Donnie Rowe Boulevard”, a special section of RV and tent camping at the famed Road Atlanta road course in Braselton, GA.
Ken and Donnie, both of Cumming, GA, are excited to open this section for the weekend- last opened in 2012. This section will be available as a general camping area for all to enjoy. Covid-19 provisions will apply. Social distancing, masks, etc. are highly encouraged and expected.
Donnie Rowe Boulevard will be a hotspot for the Moto America National Road race scheduled for April 30th – May 2nd 2021 at the beautiful Braselton, GA facility. “This year is full of the most competitive motorcycle racing we have seen in years” says Rowe.
The family-friendly atmosphere will be full of great road racing action for fans and friends alike. We will be practicing Covid 19 protocols for this entire event. The general camping area will be set up outside Turn 10 and will be bringing the “party” back to Road Atlanta.
“The hype around the outdoor racing facility is bigger than it has been in years” says Welty. “The phone is ringing, the vibe is out there, people are ready to resume some kind of normalcy and with the outdoor opportunities- it is near perfect” says Rowe.
Rowe, who raced in the mid-1980’s, has won races on tracks including the famed Riverside Raceway in California, the Loudon Classic in New Hampshire, the historic Daytona International Raceway and even the site of Rowe’s home track, Road Atlanta.
