Longtime Motorcycle Industry Insider Tad Dobbs Passes Away

Longtime motorcycle parts and accessories expert Tad Dobbs passed away on May 3 in Asheville, N.C after battling cancer. He was 68.

Tad was most notable during the 1980s and ‘90s as the head of purchasing for Surefire Distributing and later as warehouse manager for Parts Unlimited in North Carolina. He had a love for blues music and spent several years as the harmonic player for the Asheville based blues band Cross Eyed Cat.
