I can across a folder of some really cool drag racing photos from Irwindale Raceway from the mid-1960s. It serves as a wonderful glimpse into what drag racing looked like nearly 60 years ago. A lot of Harleys and British bikes and a few early Japanese-made motorcycles were coming on the scene. Some legends of the era are pictured including Millard Disharoon, Joe Smith, Dick Rios, Leo Paynes and others.
