Paul Morgan III Wins Springfield Mile 883 Race (2000)

Paul Morgan III stands atop the podium at the Springfield Mile in Sept. of 2000 after winning the Harley Sportster 883 race on his Moroney’s Harley-Davidson-sponsored machine. Morgan beat teammate Roger Hayden (right) to the checkered flag. James Hart took third aboard his Wheels Through Time Museum/ Dale’s H-D Sportster. Morgan went on a late-season charge in the series and ended the year with three wins. He finished fifth in the final standings. Willie McCoy won the championship that year.
